Terms of Use
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and ITER LABS SpA, a company established in Chile, regarding Astria. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who may use Astria
You must be at least 16 and legally capable of accepting these Terms. If your country requires a higher age or permission from a legal representative, you must meet that requirement. You may not use Astria where prohibited by law.
You must provide reasonably accurate information, keep credentials secure, and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity through your account except where the law provides otherwise.
2. License and service scope
ITER LABS grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Astria on devices you own or control, solely for personal purposes and under these Terms and applicable store rules. This license does not transfer ownership of Astria or its content.
Astria may provide natal charts, astrology readings, a journal, emotional analytics, notifications, and AI-generated content. Some features require an account, internet access, device permissions, or an active subscription. Features may vary by country, version, and platform.
3. Astrology, wellbeing, and artificial intelligence
Astria provides astrology, self-reflection, and entertainment content. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent health conditions and does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not make health, safety, relationship, financial, or legal decisions based solely on Astria.
AI responses are automatically generated from available context and may contain errors, omissions, or unexpected statements. You must evaluate them using your own judgment. We do not guarantee accuracy, personal suitability, or specific outcomes.
Astria does not monitor emergencies. If you or another person is in danger or needs urgent help, immediately contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
4. Your content
You retain any rights you hold in journal notes, feedback, and other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license limited to hosting, reproducing, processing, and transmitting that content only to operate, protect, and improve Astria, answer support, and provide features you request. This license ends when you delete the content or account, except for temporary copies or legally permitted retention.
You represent that you may submit the content and that it does not violate third-party rights or law. Avoid including highly sensitive information that is not necessary. Review the Privacy Policy to understand how text and context may be sent to AI providers.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and payments
Astria may offer weekly, monthly, or annual plans. Before confirming a purchase, you will see the applicable benefit, duration, and price. Prices, taxes, currency, and availability may vary and are those displayed by the store at purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled within the time specified by Apple or Google. The store charges your account and manages billing. You can manage or cancel through your store account settings. Cancellation normally preserves access until the end of the paid period.
If a free trial or promotion is offered, its conditions appear before confirmation. Unless canceled under the displayed store rules, it may convert into a paid subscription. Trials may be limited by account or eligibility.
Refund requests are governed by Apple, Google, and applicable law. Deleting your account or uninstalling Astria does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it through the store first if you do not want future renewals, then delete the account if desired.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Astria unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that harms the service or others. In particular, you may not:
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, code, models, networks, or data;
- bypass limits, safeguards, access controls, purchases, or subscription entitlements;
- copy, sell, sublicense, rent, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Astria unless expressly permitted by law;
- use automation to scrape, overload, interfere with, or test vulnerabilities without authorization;
- upload malware, unlawful content, or material that violates privacy, intellectual property, or other rights;
- impersonate others, harass, threaten, or use Astria to cause harm.
7. Intellectual property
Astria, Lunia, the software, design, trademarks, illustrations, original text, presentation models, and other ITER LABS materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the limited license in these Terms, no other rights are granted.
Third-party services, marks, and content belong to their respective owners. If you believe content in Astria infringes your rights, contact us with enough information to evaluate it.
8. Third-party services
Astria relies on services from Apple, Google, Supabase, DeepSeek, RevenueCat, Expo, and infrastructure providers. Their products may be subject to their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability or decisions, but remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law.
9. Availability, changes, and termination
We may change, suspend, or remove features to maintain security, comply with law, adapt providers, or improve Astria. We will try to provide advance notice where a material change affects a paid feature, unless a technical, legal, or security emergency prevents it.
You may stop using Astria at any time and delete your account through Profile → Delete account. We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, or legal requirement, acting reasonably and respecting mandatory rights. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription.
10. Warranties and liability
Astria is provided as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete absence of errors, or accuracy of astrology or AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory warranties, consumer rights, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ITER LABS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, or loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use or inability to use Astria. Any limit applies only where valid and does not affect liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, or matters the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Apple-specific terms
If you download Astria from the App Store, you acknowledge that this agreement is between you and ITER LABS, not Apple. ITER LABS, not Apple, is responsible for Astria, its maintenance, support, and app-related claims, subject to law. Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support.
The license is limited to using Astria on Apple products you own or control under Apple’s Usage Rules, including permitted use through Family Sharing or other authorized features. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo and are not listed on U.S. restricted-party lists.
If Astria fails to meet an applicable legal warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the app purchase price, if any, under its rules. To the maximum extent permitted, Apple has no other warranty obligation. ITER LABS will address product or intellectual-property claims for which it is legally responsible. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If there is a conflict for use of the Apple-distributed app, mandatory Apple terms and applicable law control.
12. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Chile, without limiting mandatory rules and consumer rights in your place of residence. Disputes will be submitted to courts with jurisdiction under applicable law. Before filing a formal claim, we invite you to contact us to seek a direct resolution.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with its effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes. If you continue using Astria after the effective date, you accept the updated version where permitted by law; if you disagree, stop using the service.
